The First National Bank building was completed in 1931 on the Southeast corner of Robinson & Park Avenue, second in a race with the Ramsey Tower to be completed. Other images of this building (and "The Race") are in all decades beginning with the 1930s. Only two are shown here.

A closer look at the Entry & Facade
Although slightly taller than the Ramsey, both were 33 stories. The two buildings were tied as the "most storied" of downtown buildings for 40 years, until the Liberty Tower was completed in 1971.
