The Bass & Harbour Building, which became the Insurance Building, was at 114 N Broadway, roughly where Chase Bank is today.
The construction date was between 1909-1910. Notice its distinctive crown, helpful to identify later vintage pictures.
In the second image, it is shown in 1925, in the vicinity of entrance(s) to the Underground Chinatown. It is the largest building shown, light colored.
