RAMSEY TOWER The Ramsey Tower was completed in 1931, first in a race with the 1st National Buiding to be completed, at the Northeast corner of Robinson & Park Avenue. Other images of this building (and "The Race") are in all decades beginning with the 1930s. Only two are shown here. Today, this building is "City Place."

Although not quite as tall as 1st National, both were 33 stories. The two buildings were tied as the "most storied" of downtown buildings for 40 years, until the Liberty Tower was completed in 1971.
