Harrison Avenue. Harrison Avenue gets special treatment because: (1) the street was named after the 23rd President of the United States, Benjamin Harrison, President at the time of the April 22, 1889, Land Run; (2) it includes several interesting historic buildings along its way; and (3) today, its vantage point provides an interesting and unusual perspective of the downtown skyline. Until trolleys were discontinued in 1947, it was on the ORC trolley route.
