Mideke Supply Company. Mideke Supply Company began doing business in 1906, as shown by the September 27, 1936, Oklahoman article on the right. Construction of its new building at 100 E. Main, designed by Monnot & Reid and constructed by Reinhart & Donovan, began in 1919 and was completed in 1920. The initial 3-story structure was was expanded by two additional floors sometime later.

The company engaged in wholesale mill and plumbing supply sales and business operations continued until at least January 2, 1989, the most recent item I located in the Oklahman's archives mentioning the company name (other than obituaries -- in this instance, the report was about a burglary and stereo theft on the premises).

The 1st image below is from an August 1920 ad in the Daily Oklahoman. It still stands today, as shown in the contemporary photograph below. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
