| Plaza Court. When it officially opened November 10, 1927, Plaza Court became Oklahoma City's first residential shopping center and was called "a city within a city." Designed by Hawk & Parr, archetects, and constructed by Reinhart & Donovan at Northwest 10th & Walker, Crescent Market moved from its 300 West Main downtown location in September to become an initial tenant. Other tenants over the years were Veazy Drug, WKY-Radio, and Atlas Life Insurance Company (see the photo with Kaiser's below). In this time, the diagonal road on the west was Classen Bouleverd, Classen Drive today.
