The non-custodial parent shall have visitation with the minor child(ren) of the parties as follows:
Every other weekend from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday.
In odd numbered years (i.e.: 2003, etc.) the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:
A. Easter: 8 a.m. Friday preceding Easter until 8 p.m. Sunday.
B. July 4: 6 p.m. evening preceding July 4 until 8 p.m. on the 4th of July.
C. Thanksgiving: 6 p.m. Wednesday preceding Thanksgiving until 8 p.m. Sunday.
D. Christmas: 6 p.m. day school is out until 12 noon Christmas Day.
E. Spring Break: 6 p.m. the day school is out until 8 p.m. the night before school begins.
In even numbered years (i.e.: 2004, etc.) the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:
A. Memorial Day: 6 p.m. Friday preceding Memorial Day until 8 p.m. Monday.
B. Labor Day: 6 p.m. Friday preceding Labor Day until 8 p.m. Monday.
C. Christmas: 12 noon Christmas Day until 6 p.m. on the night before school resumes after Christmas break.
The holiday visitation schedule set out above is to be observed whether or not it coincides with the regular every other week visitation schedule and is in addition thereto. However, it is intended that the holidays alternate between custodial and non-custodial parents. Therefore, on those occasions when non-custodial visitation is ordinarily scheduled on a holiday set aside to the custodial parent, the non-custodial visitation shall not take place.
With respect to Father's Day and Mother's Day, if the father is the non-custodial parent, and if Father’s Day falls on a weekend not regularly scheduled for paternal visitation, he shall have visitation on Father’s Day from 12 noon until 8 p.m. If Mother’s Day falls within a weekend of the father’s visitation, he shall return the child to the mother by 12 noon on Mother’s Day. If the mother is the non-custodial parent, the reverse shall apply.
The non-custodial parent shall have summer visitation as follows:
8 a.m. June 15 until 8 p.m. June 30 and from 8 a.m. August 1 until 8 p.m. August 15.
It is important to be aware that this visitation schedule is for the purpose of providing assured minimum amounts of visitation between non-custodial parent and child(ren). Visitation should exceed the number of occasions set out herein. In addition, liberal telephone communications between non-custodial parent and child(ren) are encouraged and should occur.
